The Peterhouse Team at our Retirement Complex
We are delighted to introduce our friendly team of staff working at our retirement complex in Bexhill which includes our residential and nursing home, respite care, day centre and sheltered housing. Peterhouse is situated close to Hastings, St Leonards, Battle and Eastbourne. The team comprises around 75 people and includes nursing and care staff as well as the housekeeping, maintenance, catering, administrative, and activities teams. Each and every member of staff plays a vital role in the running of Peterhouse and everyone contributes to the high quality of care on offer. Most live in Bexhill or East Sussex and so are very familiar with local services, local attractions and events. All Peterhouse nursing and residential care home staff, and teams across our retirement complex have been through a very careful recruitment and selection process. We ensure they are well matched to their job role and that their core beliefs match our Peterhouse ethos of ‘residents-first’ – this means caring for each person as we would wish for our loved ones. The Peterhouse team are strongly supported by the CEO of NABs, Diana Tickell and her team at the London office, the Peterhouse Management Board and the voluntary group ‘Friends of Peterhouse’. We take the safety and security of our residents very seriously and as such operate ‘safer recruitment’ practices, completing DBS and reference checks on all staff.
